Before we get onto the Series 2 schedule, I would just like to offer my undying gratitude to all of the contributors of this series who gave up their time and effort and put so much into their appearances on the show. So, a bear-sized thank you to James Winstanley, Craig Shavez, Mike Parish, John Rayment, David Freeman Powell, David Woodhead, Tony Bird, and Jim Vogiatzis.
Every single one of these fine people brings their all to Doctor DILF - surprising stories, little known facts, informed opinions, evidence-based research, professional expertise, and a brilliant sense of humour! I know you will love hearing from them as much as I have loved talking with them. If there’s one thing us gay men know how to do, it’s to tell a good story. So, thank you!
Thank you also to everyone who contributed their feedback on Doctor DILF: Series 1. At the time of writing, the downloads for Series 1 alone are pushing 1000, which is phenomenal for a brand new podcast. I think it just goes to show that there is a need for Doctor DILF. Older gay and bisexual men are a clever lot and we need to be heard - and to be catered for. Thank you also to my brother Ben for sending me a brand new microphone. When it started flashing rainbows, I took that as a good omen…
As a final note, in response to listener feedback, the brother show is now called Doctor DILF Unwrapped rather than Doctor DILF: Extra Length, and will broadcast on alternate weeks to the main show with the exception of the STI episode. Doctor DILF is still embryonic and evolving, but I think you’ll be pleased with the results!
